Three Nights of Lights
This year, Providence is making the season even brighter thanks to Three Nights of Lights. Running Dec. 1-3, it’s an experience of three evenings including WaterFire, Providence’s signature arts event which will feature a series of bonfires illuminating the downtown rivers.
Next, The Avenue Concept will create nighttime public art with different ways to interact with murals, sculptures and more.
Lastly, enjoy an outdoor projection show presented by FirstWorks.
Update: FirstWorks has rescheduled the international ice-dancing company to appear on Thursday, Dec. 8 with three, free performances of their show-stopping hits at 6, 7 and 8 p.m., followed by an ice-skating dance party until 9:30 p.m. at the BankNewport City Center/Providence Rink. Christmas on the Parkway
Join Councilwoman Jo-Ann Ryan for Providence’s annual Christmas on the Parkway celebration.
